I'm just about to go into my final year at Exeter university where I'm studying Economics and Finance with International Study (and proficiency in Spanish) - ridiculously long degree title if it all ends up on the certificate! I am 22 so still haven't got the life plan figured, but ideally after I'm finished travelling I would like to work in investment management.
Before university I took a gap year and started this blog to document my travels for my many followers - jks, it was for mom and the grandparents. However, this year when I went to study abroad in Mexico I thought it would be nice to continue as is a good reminder of what I did. Saying that, my success rate at updating this year was horrific, but I've kept at it as I still have to write a reflective essay about the year as part of my grade so this is a good way to recap what I've done/seen!
With one year left to go in my degree I am starting to worry about the dreaded 'real life' awaiting me when I leave my happy student bubble. In an effort to avoid too much shock I am currently planning to take another 'gap year' when I finish university to tick a few more things off the list before I get tied down in a job! (assuming someone will take me)
This summer I'm completing an internship in Trinidad, and so far after 3 weeks have had very little to do. As a result I have decided to get my blog up to date and then start expanding it to other wonderfully interesting topics - such as food. In reality, I have run out of procrastination and this is a good and possibly useful way to occupy my time!
